Successful TRT Online Training Middle-East Waitlist

From the 1st to 3rd April 2023 three-day TRT training was delivered online to MHPSS workers located in Syria, Turkey and Iraq.  The training was delivered in collaboration with training partner Hurras Organisation.

A request for online TRT training was made by participants in 2022 and they names were placed on a waitlist.  The training was organised to accommodate these waitlist participants as well as additional participants wishing to implement the TRT in response to the earthquake in Turkey and Syria. Hurras organisation agreed to collaborate with CAW on delivering the training.

A total of 20 participants took part in the training.  All participants have experience working with children in war zones and are currently full-time employees of NGOs based Syria, Turkey and Iraq.

Participants plans to use the TRT program as part of their main MPSS response in war and conflict settings as well as a response to the Syria/Turkey earthquake in the coming months.  CAW will offer supervision sessions during and after implementation cycles in the coming months.
