Study shows TRT is the most effective intervention

A new study shows that TRT is the most effective intervention available for use by non-clinicians.

An evaluation of 326 studies shows that Teaching Recovery Techniques (TRT) – a program developed by the Children and War Foundation – has the strongest documented effect among interventions suitable for delivery by non-clinicians.

  • «These protocols were designed to help children who have experienced trauma. We are pleased that research and evaluations demonstrate that TRT is accessible to aid workers and first responders. It is crucial that children receive support and practical techniques as early as possible to help them process their trauma.»
